Commemorating World Sepsis Day with Marc Leishman
After facing a traumatic experience, it’s necessary to stop and think about the good we can bring to the world. After battling a sepsis infection, that's exactly what Marc and Audrey Leishman did with the Begin Again Foundation. Sepsis isn’t widely talked about. But if left untreated, it can be deadly.
Watch Kelli Bravo, VP of Healthcare and Life Sciences at Pega as she interviews Marc on his and his wife's brush with sepsis. Learn how they decided to take a nearly tragic experience and turn it into a tool to spread awareness.
You’ll also hear from our resident RN, Carol Everhart, who will share information about sepsis from her professional expertise.
Join us in commemorating World Sepsis Day this year on September 13, 2021 and Sepsis Awareness Month spanning from September 1st to September 30th. Don't forget to take a moment to learn more about sepsis by checking out Marc and Audrey's Begin Again Foundation.
