As emails are clicked in Outlook, the plugin dynamically updates and gives a complete view of leads, opportunities, associated contacts, and recent activities. This contact-specific support also works for calendar entries. The plugin allows reps to quickly associate contacts, leads, and opportunities to create a 360-degree view of prospects and clients. This keeps the sales team informed and creates a record of all activity. For example, reps can leverage Pega's Next-Best-Action Engine and present these offers over email. They can associate these emails to the activity history, while the analytic model learns what new cross-sell and upsell offers should be provided. Scheduling appointments with clients, prospects, and internal team members should be as familiar as creating an appointment in Outlook, and once an appointment is created, the Pega Sales Automation plugin automatically tags these calendar entries, shows them in the plugin, and allows reps to associate them into the Activity Record.
The plugin also includes the ability to quickly create contacts, leads, and opportunities directly from the side panel, so no time is wasted switching systems or entering information that isn't easily accessible or required. And a global search capability allows reps to locate information in Pega Sales Automation without ever having to leave Outlook. Once the information has been located, the plugin makes opening the actual record easy. Now, reps can update a sales stage or make other changes quickly and easily based on the latest email correspondence.
