Watch Hill Partners and Pegasystems Partner to Offer Customer-Facing, Rules-Based BPM Solutions

PROVIDENCE, R.I. & CAMBRIDGE, Mass., May 16, 2003 — Watch Hill Partners, Inc., a strategic technology and business process consultancy, and Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), a leading provider of rules-based, smart business process management (BPM) software, today announced that Watch Hill Partners has become a premier services partner to support the implementation of PegaRULES Process Commander for major financial services and insurance clients.

Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will participate in joint sales and marketing initiatives focused on PegaRULES Process Commander, Pegasystems' rules-based business process management application. Using PegaRULES Process Commander, Watch Hill Partners will assist companies in the consulting, functional design and implementation of Pegasystems' smart BPM solutions to help customers increase revenues and efficiencies, as well as to respond to shifting market and regulatory conditions.
