Pegasystems London Expo Demonstrates Customer Success

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., June 2, 2006 — Pegasystems Inc. (Nasdaq: PEGA), the leader in unified process and rules technology, today announced the success of its Expo 2006 held recently in London. The event attracted close to 300 global delegates representing senior business and IT executives from the financial services, insurance, telecom and public sector markets, with presentations delivered by leading analyst, customer, industry and partner representatives.

Delegates viewed demonstrations of Pegasystems' new class of BPM software, which enables unprecedented usability for end-users, business analysts and IT developers. Customer presentations, including those by Deutsche Telekom, Helphire, ING and Nordea, exemplified the various business problems Pegasystems SmartBPM suite is solving today including providing a single view of customer information, improving the efficiency of invoicing and payment activities, coordinating disparate legacy systems and increasing the level of automation within and across front- and back-office operations.

As recently as 2002, international sales accounted for less than 25 percent of the company's total revenues and by the end of 2005 this had grown to 35 percent. Pegasystems' goal for 2006 is to build on success by adding continued value to enterprise customers by improving their ability to embrace change and capitalize on market opportunities.
