Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Manager

Picture Yourself at Pega:
The Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity manager is responsible for developing, maintaining and managing the company’s DR and BC program. The manager will support all activities necessary to enable the company to effectively respond to a business interruption.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Evolve and update Pega’s Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans
- Regularly meet with key business stakeholders across the organization
- Creating Business Impact Analysis (BIA) documents (company-wide)
- Create a steering committee to deal with DR, BIA, and BC
- Complete detailed vendor assessment questionnaires related to DR plans and business continuity
- Create and maintain documentation
- Complete special projects and other duties as needed]
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate has a basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and application development; is highly organized; writes clearly and succinctly; and is comfortable in a continuous learning environment.
What You've Accomplished:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years’ experience including combined business continuity, disaster recovery, project management, business analysis and team leadership
- 2-3 years of technical writing and/or experience in IT
- Good knowledge of IT / Infrastructure principles and terminology
- Understanding of Cloud Technology
- Familiarity with software development process
- Ability to learn and work independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent judgment
Additional preferred qualifications:
- Experience in compliance and/or network security
- Successful completion of college-level courses in IT, Infrastructure, networking, telephony, software development, or compliance

Additional Information
Base salary range for this role is 178,900 - 272,600 PLN annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.
The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
