 As a Cloud Quality Lead, you are a pivotal member of the Cloud Engineering organization, embedded within a Tribe and collaborating across squads.

You drive a quality and AI-first mindset, combining strategic ownership with hands-on engineering. You engage early in the development lifecycle, influence design decisions, and ensure that testability, observability, and risk mitigation are built in from day one.

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Shape the Quality Strategy: You’ll play a central role in defining how quality is built, measured, and scaled across our cloud infrastructure services. From influencing early design decisions to ensuring release readiness, you’ll help embed quality at every stage of the development lifecycle. You’ll bring visibility to what matters through meaningful metrics and drive continuous improvements based on real production insights.
• Lead Through Hands-On Engineering: Roughly 50% of your time will be spent designing, building, and evolving test solutions in areas that matter most to our customers, using AI-first approach. Working closely with engineers and technical leaders, you’ll tackle complex integration and end-to-end challenges, helping teams deliver confidently in a distributed systems environment.
• Enable Teams and Elevate Practices: You’ll act as a force multiplier for quality across the organization. By mentoring engineers, introducing modern testing approaches (including AI-assisted techniques), and creating reusable frameworks and tooling, you’ll make it easier for teams to build quality in - rather than test it in later.
• Drive Impact Beyond Your Team: You’ll contribute to (and often lead) cross-team initiatives that shape how we deliver cloud services at scale. Whether it’s driving a key milestone, piloting new tools, or improving how teams collaborate on quality, your work will have visible, organization-wide impact.
• Partner Across Engineering: Working closely with product managers, architects, and engineers, you’ll help navigate trade-offs, identify risks early, and ensure our services meet the reliability and performance expectations of enterprise customers.

Who You Are:

As a Cloud Quality Lead, you will have a track record of focusing on quality in a high-paced, growth-oriented business environment where capabilities are continually stretched. With years of development or testing experience and passion for AI, you have sound application development skills using an enterprise platform, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.

What You've Accomplished:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or similar field.
• 10+ years of development or testing experience, preferably in a SaaS company.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted quality with passion to use Artificial Intelligence to solve problems and improve processes
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or similar cloud technologies.
• Knowledgeable in multiple testing technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Additional Information

Base salary range for this role is 251,000 - 382,400 PLN annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.

The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
