My name is Steve Martinson and I'm working at the Swedish Employment Service as head of digital Decisions and Case Management. So what we're doing right now with Pega is that we're getting external providers, external partners into our core business, helping out the case workers.
We're the third biggest government in Sweden, so we can fairly say that we are doing the largest digital transformation in the Swedish public sector. Before all of our citizens that registered with the agency had to meet a caseworker for some parts of the process.
But after implementing automated workflows, 10% of all the new citizens can do it by themselves. Measuring the success with Pega, the latest project we delivered in four months and earlier, a project like that would take at least a year, so that's good for us on it. But we can also see for the citizens and the caseworkers implementing self-service workflow. It saves 1500 meetings and that was about 700 hours just for one week.
So that's a lot of time that the caseworkers can spend on other job seekers that are in need of more support and guidance. We have so much to learn at the agency and we really need the help from Pega, who has the expertise. So, so much more stuff that we can do with the platform and also with the methodology that comes with the platform.
