What You'll Do at Pega:
- Develop & Deliver: Design, build, test, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
- Collaborate: Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with REST services.
- Architect: Build reusable, modular UI components, applying best practices for scalability and maintainability.
- Test & Validate: Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure robust and reliable applications.
- Enhance UX: Focus on usability and accessibility, ensuring every feature improves the user journey.
- Innovate: Stay current with emerging frontend frameworks, tools, and practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Document: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for UI components, workflows, and best practices.
Who You Are:
You are a Software Engineer who is passionate about frontend development, while also confident in applying Core Java skills when needed. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at solving complex problems, and bring a user-first mindset to every project.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in frontend development and Core Java.
- Strong proficiency in React.js, Redux, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with React Hooks, component lifecycle, and state management.
- Solid foundation in Core Java, with the ability to contribute to backend features when required.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and building responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs.
- Proficiency with Webpack, Babel, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of accessibility (WCAG standards).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
