Principal Sales Engineer - UI
Meet Our Team:
DemoX is Pega’s global sales engineering and demo innovation team, responsible for building high-impact, reusable demo experiences that support strategic sales engagements worldwide. We collaborate with pre-sales Solutions Consultants to customize and extend proof of concepts, maintain reusable assets, and influence product direction through close partnerships with Product Managers, Engineers, Professional Services, and clients.

As a Principal UI Engineer on Pega’s DemoX team, you’ll build immersive, interactive front‑end experiences that transform complex enterprise workflows into engaging, easy‑to‑navigate product stories. Your demos are more than walkthroughs - they’re experiences that invite customers to explore, experiment, and play with what’s possible.
You’ll partner with UX, Sales, and Product teams to create demo environments that use thoughtful gamification, progressive disclosure, and visual storytelling to guide users through Pega’s AI‑powered capabilities. From concept to execution, you’ll own the UI layer - crafting reusable patterns, refining interactions, and setting standards that scale across industries and use cases. What You'll Do at Pega:
- Lead front-end development for executive-level demos and strategic sales engagements
- Build reusable UI frameworks and demo tooling that scale across industries and use cases
- Partner with UX, Sales, and Product teams to shape compelling demo narratives
- Influence UI and front-end standards across DemoX and Sales Engineering
Who You Are:
- A front-end engineer with a strong UX mindset
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and shaping solutions from concept to execution
- Confident partnering directly with Sales and customers
- Passionate about quality, usability, and storytelling through UI
- Experienced mentoring others and raising technical standards
What You've Accomplished:
- 8+ years of experience in front-end development, UI engineering, or UX engineering role
- Advanced proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React strongly preferred)
- Experience with AI agents and automation tools
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and component-based architecture
- Proven experience translating UX designs into high-quality implementations
- Experience working directly with Sales, pre-sales, or customer-facing technical teams
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Additional Information
Base salary range for this role is BRL annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.
The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
