Senior System Architect

As a member of Pega Consulting's U.S. Public Sector practice, you will partner with government agencies to modernize operations, improve constituent experiences, and deliver mission-critical solutions. You will work alongside agency stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams to build secure, scalable, mission-focused Pega solutions.

Pega is changing the way the world builds software. As a Solution Builder Senior System Architect, you will play a critical role in transforming solution designs into production-ready applications that support federal, state, and local government agencies.
You are a hands-on technical builder who transforms solution designs into production-ready applications. Working closely with clients, architects, and delivery teams, you will configure, integrate, test, and deploy Pega solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with mission objectives. You will leverage modern Pega capabilities including Blueprint, Constellation, Pega Infinity, Pega Cloud, and AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and governance.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Deliver high-quality technical solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Build, configure, integrate, test, and deploy Pega applications using modern capabilities including Blueprint, Constellation, Pega Infinity, and Pega Cloud.
- Collaborate with Solution Designers and Solution Builders to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions aligned to architectural standards.
- Implement solution designs with a focus on quality, scalability, maintainability, and client success.
- Mentor client and team resources in Pega technology, development standards, and delivery methodologies.
- Help clients understand platform capabilities, implementation approaches, and Pega best practices.
- Ensure solutions meet government security, accessibility, quality, and compliance requirements.
Who You Are:
- Maintains active Pega Senior System Architect certification and demonstrates an ongoing commitment to staying current with the latest Pega platform innovations, capabilities, and best practices. A hands-on technical professional passionate about applying Pega technology to solve complex business problems.
- Skilled in Pega Blueprint, Constellation, application development, integrations, security, performance, and modern delivery practices.
- A collaborative technical leader who communicates effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experienced working within Agile delivery teams and mentoring junior technical resources.
- Able to obtain and maintain required government security clearances and suitability determinations.
What You've Accomplished:
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) and demonstrated expertise with the Pega Platform.
- Built and delivered enterprise-scale applications and business solutions.
- Led delivery of complex solution components across Agile implementations.
- Built credibility with clients through technical expertise, collaboration, and delivery success.

Additional Information
Base salary range for this role is 113,800 - 176,500 USD annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.
The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
