Pegasystems is seeking experienced software services project leader experts to join our dynamic team of Solution Consulting and Project Delivery Leader. Directoe of Solution Consulting and  Project Delivery Leader actively contributes to the success of all client engagements through industry knowledge, Pegasystems product knowledge, leadership, and project execution skills.

The key responsibilities of theDirector of Solution Consulting and  Project Delivery Leader will include project planning and management, as well as client engagement at all levels within an account. This role requires travel.

What You'll Do at Pega:

As the Director of Solutions Consulting & Project Delivery, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for both pre-sales solutioning and post-sales delivery excellence. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and localizing global go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the Japanese market, driving client success, and aligning Pega’s capabilities with customer business outcomes. You will also serve as a key conduit for product feedback from Japan to global teams, helping influence roadmap and innovation.

Who You Are:

Solutions Consulting Leadership

  • Own the pre-sales strategy and execution across key verticals: Financial Services Industry (FSI), Public Sector, Communication, Media and Technology (CMT).
  • Localize global GTM strategy to fit the Japanese market, including messaging, positioning, and solution packaging.
  • Guide SCs in crafting compelling solution architectures and value propositions aligned with client needs.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to define and execute GTM strategy, enablement, and campaign planning.
  • Lead executive-level client engagements to position Pega’s strategic value.
  • Ensure SC team readiness through training, certification, and best practice sharing.
  • Act as the voice of the Japanese market to global product and strategy teams, providing structured feedback and insights.

🔹 Project Delivery Oversight

  • Oversee delivery governance across active engagements, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
  • Harmonize Pega’s delivery methodology with client practices (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Support Delivery Leads in risk management, stakeholder alignment, and escalation handling.

🔹 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a bridge between Sales, Product, Cloud, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and contribute to pipeline growth through strategic account planning.

What You've Accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software consulting, including pre-sales and delivery.
  • Proven leadership in managing SC and Delivery teams.
  • Deep understanding of GTM strategy, solution selling, and delivery methodologies.
  • Experience in localizing global strategies and influencing product direction.
  • Business-level fluency in English and Japanese.

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):

  • Experience in a leading enterprise consulting firm with proven success in projects such as ERP transformation, cloud migration, or SAP implementation.
