Terms and Conditions
1. ELIGIBILITY:
The Free Prize Draw is open to attendees of PegaFest held in Melbourne, VIC and who have reached the age of 18 as of Thursday 20 November 2025 at 12:01 AM, unless otherwise prohibited by law or otherwise excluded by these Rules.
Pegasystems (Australia) Pty Ltd. of Darling Park, Tower 1, Level 9/201 Sussex St, Sydney NSW 2000 ABN 28 076 708 533 is the promoter (“Promoter”) of this Promotion. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, as well as employees of any associated agencies or partners involved in the Promotion. Partners who have contracted with the Promoter to provide goods or services are not eligible to enter. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
The Promotion begins on Thursday 20 November at 4:00 pm.
2. AGREEMENT TO RULES:
By participating in the Promotion, You agree to be fully, unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Promoter as final and binding as it relates to the Promotion and administration of this Promotion.
3. COMPLIANCE WITH YOUR COMPANY POLICIES:
It is your sole responsibility to review and understand your employer's policies regarding your eligibility to participate in promotions such as this Promotion. By entering the Promotion or by accepting a prize, you warrant and represent that your participation in this Promotion and receipt of any prize, does not violate your employer’s policies and procedures, nor the laws, regulations, conventions or rules that apply to you. If you are participating in violation of your employer's policies, you may be disqualified from entering the Promotion or receiving a prize. The Promoter disclaims any and all liability or responsibility for disputes arising between an entrant and his/her employer related to this matter.
4. HOW TO ENTER:
Entry is free and does not require any payment or purchase of entry ticket or any goods or services. Entry is by attending event and entering competition. Only one entry per person is permitted. Entries must be received during the event period. Late entries will not be accepted.
5. PRIZE:
The prize consists of one pass for PegaWorld 2026 which takes place in Las Vegas on 7 – 9 June 2026 and is worth USD995. The prize does not include travel and expenses. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Promoter to use winner’s name, likeness, and Entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
6. DRAW DETAILS:
The winner will be selected by a random draw conducted at 6:50pm on Thursday 20 November at Telstra CIC, Melbourne. The draw will be conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION:
The winner will be announced at the event contacted via announcement immediately after the time of the draw. The winners of the Promotion, by accepting the prize, also agree to abide by these terms and https://www.pega.com/privacy-and-security. Promoter is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winners. Non-winning entrants will not be notified. If any prize/prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any other requirements, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and may be awarded to an alternate.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Promoter’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Promotion. In such case, Promoter may reschedule the Promotion. Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or website or violates these Terms & Conditions or the Promotion Rules. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. RIGHTS GRANTED BY YOU:
By entering this Promotion, You understand and agree that Promoter, anyone acting on behalf of Promoter, and Promoter’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, Your Entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Promotion, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent, unless prohibited by law.
10. TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Promoter’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Promotion. In such case, Promoter may select the winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Promoter. Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or website or violates these Terms & Conditions and/or the Promotion Rules. Promoter has the right, in its sole discretion and to maintain the integrity of the Promotion.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
As a condition of entering this Promotion, Promoter, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors is released and held harmless from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) any entrant’s participation in the Promotion and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Entry process or the Promotion; (iii) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
12. LAW:
This Promotion is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria.
