Pegasystems and KPMG Form Strategic Alliance to Help Government Agencies Improve Citizen and Employee Experiences

Intelligent automation offerings combine market-leading technology with industry expertise to meet digital transformation goals

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – October 10, 2018 – Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), the software company empowering customer engagement at the world’s leading enterprises, today announced a strategic alliance with KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm. This alliance offers government agencies a path toward digital transformation that can automate manual processes, and help improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve collaboration and the citizen experience.

Faced with growing demand for modernized citizen services, many government agencies are saddled with reduced budgets and hiring freezes, outdated and siloed technology, and workflow and integration challenges. This strategic alliance between Pega and KPMG can ease the modernization burden by combining industry-compliant technology with strategic consulting and implementation services to deliver effective intelligent automation (IA) solutions. Agencies can realize the following benefits:

  • Increased efficiency through automation: IA technology such as robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI) enables agile, accurate operations by automating rules-based administrative processes, while helping organizations identify use cases with the highest potential for success.
  • Improved collaboration: By connecting all departments within an agency, employees gain access to relevant information to complete a specific task. Similarly, other agencies can seamlessly connect to improve communication, ensuring faster resolution and innovation.
  • Lowered costs: Automation allows agencies to reduce costs in a variety of ways, including avoiding costly investments in building back-end interfaces for legacy standalone systems, reducing process rework time, and reducing duplicative manual processes and workarounds.

At the core of this modernization is Pega’s digital transformation suite, Pega Infinity™, which combines customer engagement and digital process automation (DPA) software on a single platform. Pega’s suite of customer engagement applications for marketing, sales, and customer service uses AI to anticipate customer needs and adapt with next best actions throughout the customer journey. Built on Pega Platform™, the industry-leading no-code application development platform, clients can automate processes and drive superior customer engagement and operational excellence.

Beginning with government agencies, this alliance will expand to other industries including healthcare, financial services, and telecommunications. For more information, please visit www.kpmg.com/us/pegasystems.
