When it came to completing the first digital 2020 Census, in the middle of a pandemic, everyone was expecting failure. But the U.S. Census Bureau turned to Pega. And in turn, proved everyone wrong. The Enterprise Census and Surveys Enabling platform (ECaSE) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications, delivered by Pega and partners, integrated more than 50 systems, automated communications to 400,000+ partner organizations, and enabled a team of 600,000 enumerators to count 152 million households in half the time as the previous Census.
