Welcome to Pega GenAI Blueprint, your AI-infused workflow design workspace, where before it would take weeks or even months to plan out an end-to-end digital transformation project. With Blueprint, you'll be able to start to envision the future of your customer journeys in just a couple minutes. So how does it work?
Well, you start Blueprint by defining your business priorities. So what are you actually looking to build? And what's business problems are you looking to solve? And from there, generative AI will analyze industry best practice templates curated by industry experts in order to give you a starting point for your application design.
And then Blueprint will walk you through the actual definition of your future application, starting with the case types, which are the workflows, the components of the customer journey, which need to be automated or digitized in order to transform your end-to-end customer journey. And from there, you'll get into the details.
What is the actual work needed to be automated within each one of these workflows? And to do that, you'll define the stages and steps within each case type. Then you'll move on to data, where you get to define the data objects with which these case types need access to in order to get their work done. And data objects can be connected to one or multiple systems of record in your backend.
And finally, you'll move on to the personas, where you'll get to detail the stakeholders and participants who need access to these workflows in this application in order to get their jobs done. So these are people who need to create work, get work done, or report on work throughout the course of their day and throughout the course of these customer journeys. And these are really the three pillars of a Pega workflow automation application. And they come together in what we call the Center-out business architecture. And what that means is that these workflows that you define, these case types, can be seamlessly plugged in to the experiences for all of the personas for whom you define, which means that you can plug your workflows directly into the experiences for your back-office employees, your customer service agents through their desktops, and to your customers directly through your self-service channels.
And just like the channel layer, the data layer has seamless access to your data objects as well. So any of these data objects can be connected to your workflows, and both of them can adapt and evolve without impacting the other. So once you've aligned on this, you really have created the blueprint for your new application, and that can be instantly exported in order to import into Pega to instantly generate a new application. So you could start to see the future of your customer journeys in action in just a couple minutes.
