What You'll Do at Pega:

• Build and enhance the DemoX Cloud infrastructure by developing scripts, functional improvements, and innovative environments running Pega Infinity software.
• Leverage AWS technologies to support global demo initiatives and collaborate with teams on infrastructure requirements.
• Maintain and optimize the DemoX Cloud, ensuring stability, cost efficiency, and governance while responding to outages and service interruptions.
• Provide advanced support and troubleshooting, including ticket management, root cause analysis, and documentation for knowledge sharing.

Who You Are:

• Experienced professional with 5+ years in cloud engineering or related roles, bringing a proven track record of designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, with a commitment to continuous learning and certification.
• Deep technical expertise across cloud platforms (especially AWS), complemented by hands-on experience with Linux systems, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools.
• Holds or is pursuing certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Linux Professional Certification, and containerization credentials, demonstrating technical credibility and growth mindset. If you don’t have a certification but thing you could achieve one, apply! Some companies do not provide ample time for certification efforts.
• Strong troubleshooting and support skills, capable of resolving complex infrastructure issues and ensuring system reliability under pressure.
• Business-aware technologist, understanding how cloud solutions impact cost, governance, and strategic objectives, and able to communicate technical decisions in a business context.
• Collaborative and adaptable, thriving in dynamic environments and working effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

What You've Accomplished:

• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative, driving projects from concept to completion without heavy oversight.
• Broad technical exposure across multiple platforms and tools, demonstrating adaptability and quick learning in diverse environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and automation, including designing, deploying, and optimizing scalable solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical challenges under pressure.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, enabling effective partnership with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
