In this video Dita Kernova, Head of Banking Operations, Erste Group Bank AG, showcases a journey about how Erste Bank has envisioned transforming the manual legacy process of guarantee issuance into a digitalized process with the target to achieve Straight-Through Processing (STP).

Having identified Pega as the digitalization solution for the bank, their vision is to build the end-to-end process on Pega – starting with setting up the process on Pega with manual steps and gradually moving towards digitalization by removing the manual steps and replacing it with automation / integration with other core systems using the out-of-the-box features of Pega.
