Product Marketing Director - Launchpad
Meet Our Team:
At Launchpad, you’ll join a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial marketing team that sits at the heart of our product-led growth strategy. We’re a small but highly collaborative group focused on shaping how the market discovers, understands, and engages with Launchpad. Our work spans demand generation, digital marketing, content strategy, and brand building—all in close partnership with Product, Sales, and our executive team.
We operate with a startup mindset inside a rapidly scaling business: we move quickly, test constantly, and take pride in crafting clear, compelling stories that show how Launchpad empowers builders, innovators, and enterprises to bring products to market faster. As our Director of Marketing, you’ll play a foundational role in defining our voice, expanding our reach, and driving measurable growth across our ICP.
Picture Yourself at Pega:
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our GTM, product, and sales teams to deeply understand our users and shape how we engage our ideal customer profiles across every channel. You’ll quickly become one of Launchpad’s key storytellers and evangelists—translating product capabilities, customer insights, and market signals into high‑impact campaigns, content, and messaging.
The strategies and materials you create will power our GTM engine: fueling digital demand programs, sharpening our narrative, elevating our brand, and equipping our customer‑facing teams with compelling stories that resonate. Your work will have a direct and visible impact on how Launchpad shows up in the market—and how we grow.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Become a subject matter expert on the Launchpad platform, our ICP, customer use cases, and the market landscape—so you can shape compelling messaging, content, and campaigns.
- Drive demand generation by planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing programs that fuel awareness, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Ventures, and GTM leadership to ensure our narrative, campaigns, and positioning align with product strategy and customer needs.
- Analyze market trends, competitive signals, and customer insights to identify opportunities, sharpen differentiation, and inform strategic marketing decisions.
- Develop high impact content and messaging, including website copy, ad creative feedback, landing pages, social content, and thought leadership pieces.
- Lead product launch and go to market motions, working cross functionally to turn product updates into clear, compelling stories that resonate in the market.
- Manage and guide our agencies (SEO, paid media) to ensure consistent performance, optimization, and ROI across all programs.
- Elevate Launchpad’s presence by building our social following, engaging our community, and supporting industry events, webinars, and occasional conferences.
- Shape and expand the marketing team, including hiring and mentoring an Events Marketing Manager to drive our events strategy and execution
Who You Are:
- Confident, dynamic marketer who isn’t afraid to challenge assumptions or push thinking when it makes the work better. You speak up with clarity and conviction—whether you’re in a leadership meeting, on a customer call, at a conference, or recording a quick video for social.
- Energized by big ideas, healthy debate, and engaging directly with executives on topics like marketing strategy, analytics, data, and growth. At the same time, you’re collaborative and technically savvy enough to earn the trust of product leaders and the broader GTM team. You improve systems rather than complain about them, and you know how to drive progress with patience and influence.
- Ready to become one of the faces of Launchpad. You’re comfortable speaking at events, hosting webinars, and creating video led content that educates and energizes our audience. You’re a proven social content creator—someone who knows how to build engagement, tell great stories, and show up authentically across channels.
- Bring a bias for action, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to thrive in a fastmoving, high ownership environment.
What You've Accomplished:
- 12+ years of experience in marketing, demand generation, product marketing, or growth roles—ideally within SaaS, tech, developer tools, or a high velocity agency environment, with 8+ years of strong managerial experience
- A proven track record of building and executing digital marketing campaigns that drive measurable awareness, engagement, and pipeline.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, demonstrated through high quality content such as website copy, blogs, video scripts, social content, thought leadership, or product aligned materials.
- Experience creating or appearing in social and video led content, with a history of producing engaging posts, insights, or shortform videos on platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, or X.
- Comfort presenting internally and externally, whether running webinars, speaking on panels, briefing executives, or representing a product at events.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and analytics, and fluency in metrics like CPL, CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, and attribution.
- A working understanding of modern technology themes such as AI, automation, data analytics, ML driven personalization, or developer focused platforms (no need to be an engineer, but you’re tech-savvy).
- Success collaborating with cross-functional teams—Product, Sales, Engineering, CX, and external agencies—to shape GTM motions, launch products, and refine messaging.
- A portfolio or examples of content you’ve created that showcases your communication style, creative approach, and strategic thinking.
