The Cloud Adaptive Engine (CAE) organization is a core part of Platform Engineering at Pega, responsible for making the Pega Platform resilient and cloud‑adaptable. We’re a focused, agile team that owns the software lifecycle end‑to‑end—spanning design and development through release and day‑two operations. What You'll Do at Pega:
- Collaborate as part of a high‑energy Agile team working in a SCRUM model, surrounded by talented and fun‑spirited engineers.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle—refining features, partnering with product owners and architects, developing capabilities, building automation, supporting documentation, and assisting with post‑release operations.
- Work with industry‑leading technologies while also exploring open‑source tools to deliver robust, high‑quality product features.
- Harness AI to boost productivity—from design to testing—while embracing a test‑driven development approach to ensure excellence at every stage.
Who You Are:
- Good at Java/Kotlin programming
- Ability to diagnose and have debugging skills
- Good understanding on Software development methodologies and quality processes
- Exposure to Devops and test automation
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs (we are agile !!!)
- Willingness to explore, learn and apply new concepts/technologies on the fly
What You've Accomplished:
- 2-4 years of software development experience
- Good at Java/Kotlin programming
- Ability to diagnose and have debugging skills
- Good understanding of Software development methodologies and quality processes
- Exposure to Devops and test automation
- Exposure to Kubernetes, open telemetry and cloud technologies will be added advantage.

Additional Information
Base salary range for this role is INR annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.
The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
