What You'll Do at Pega:

Product Testing (30%)

  • Represent the test/quality perspective in the scrum team.
  • Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and acceptance tests for features delivered by the team.
  • Design, develop, and document high-quality test specifications.
  • Execute performance test scenarios and write detailed defect reports.

Test Automation Development (30%)

  • Ensure all delivered features have automated tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write efficient, maintainable test automation scripts using industry-standard frameworks.

Monitoring & Collaboration (20%)

  • Ensure thorough testing within sprint and release timelines.
  • Apply innovative testing approaches to reduce manual effort.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engage with customers when needed.

Coaching & Quality Strategy (25%)

  • Guide and coach team members on test automation, planning, and quality best practices.
  • Drive shift-left testing practices during design and planning phases.
  • Coordinate cross-team testing events and provide technical assistance.

Who You Are:

You are passionate about test automation and code quality, with a strong understanding of software testing best practices. You thrive in an agile environment, think creatively, and communicate effectively. You have the technical leadership skills to guide projects at the team level and a keen eye for detail. You actively participate in scrum ceremonies and help make the team self-organized.

What You've Accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience developing test plans and executing test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, TestNG, and other testing technologies.
  • Proven experience with Playwright and TypeScript for test automation.
  • Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD integration and automation.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience testing web and mobile applications, UI components, and client/server systems.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills; reverse-engineering experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl) is an advantage.
  • Agile/Scrum development experience.
