The Digital Engineering and Blueprint teams create and maintain web experiences that enable our customers, partners, and employees to build, learn, and engage with Pega. Pega Blueprint allows businesspeople to quickly build enterprise workflow applications powered with the latest generative AI technologies. Our engineers work from North America, Europe, and APAC to provide sunrise-to-sunrise development and 24/7 uptime and security. The team partners closely with stakeholders across the organization — Pega Cloud, product engineering, marketing, human resources, finance, and more — to constantly enhance and scale the applications we build and the services we provide.

Picture Yourself at Pega:
We're looking for an experienced React developer to join our growing global team. You'll work with a diverse global team of developers, designers, and content creators to help shape the digital experience across multiple web properties.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Architect, develop, and maintain web applications using Node.js, Express, and other server-side technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end architects and developers to integrate user interfaces with server-side logic.
- Collaborate with backend developers, database engineers and external providers to orchestrate microservices and build middleware solutions.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of applications.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.
- Learn and evangelize emerging technologies and industry trends.
Who You Are:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Deep experience with JavaScript web frameworks like React as well as asynchronous programming.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing complex systems.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and related DevOps tools and best practices.
- Experience working on Agile scrum teams and participating in Agile ceremonies.
- Experience or interest working with enterprise content management systems, especially Drupal.
- Experience or interest working with Generative AI and Large Language Models.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Life-long learner who’s always excited about new technologies.
What You've Accomplished:
- 10+ years of experience developing and architecting large scale web applications.
- 5-7 years of experience with React and/or other client-side web frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Additional Information
Base salary range for this role is 138,600 - 211,100 USD annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.
The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
