Senior Demo Engineer - Infrastructure Support

Meet Our Team:

As a pivotal team within the Sales organization, DemoX supports, designs, and develops world-class prototypes that drive Pega’s sales and differentiate our solutions, and hosts it on DemoX Cloud. We collaborate with pre-sales Solutions Consultants to customize and extend proof of concepts, maintain reusable assets, and influence product direction through close partnerships with Product Managers, Engineers, Professional Services, and clients.

Pega is transforming how the world builds software. As a Demo Support Engineer, you’ll be a technical leader within a highly engaged, creative, and vibrant team. You’ll provide support to a broad range of infrastructure solutions to ensure sales teams’ smooth operations and contribute to their success. You’ll join efforts to deploy and support demo environments in reusable cloud instances, ensuring high availability and performance for internal Sales teams.

You’ll also:

  • Independently resolve complex support requests, escalating only when necessary.
  • Contribute to initiatives to improve demo reliability, reduce time-to-demo (TTD), and enhance support tooling.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with DemoX Infrastructure, Product, and Sales Consulting teams to align support with evolving business needs.
  • Maintain and evolve SOPs to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.

What You'll Do at Pega:

You’ll be part of a team responsible for deploying our demo environments into reusable cloud instances and supporting the internal Pega Sales staff who use those cloud instances.  Utilize, create and maintain SOPs where applicable to improve efficiency.  You’ll engage with both cloud technology, Pega’s proprietary technology and additional tools and scripts in your efforts to achieve the goal of allowing our client-facing teams to deliver smoothest demos possible.

Who You Are:

You are a proactive, self-directed engineer with a passion for support excellence. You thrive in ambiguity and make sound decisions independently. You’re not just solving problems—you’re improving the system.

What You've Accomplished:

• 2+ years of experience in Technical or Infrastructure Support, Cloud Engineering or similar.

• Strong understanding of PaaS and SaaS cloud models.

• Technical expertise in (at least 2): Linux Administration, Cloud (any of AWS/Azure/GCP), Apache Tomcat Suite, Docker and Kubernetes, Scripting and software development (Bash, Python, Java), Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Additional Information

Base salary range for this role is BRL annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.

The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
