• As a User Experience (UX) leader, you help define and drive the future of Pega product design. You identify and set product strategy, envision complex UX ecosystems and inspire teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
• You possess a clear vision of the future of user experience and have the courage to pursue forward-thinking design.
• In this role, you will apply your passion for user experience to guide research and design processes, mentor talented members of your team, and collaborate with leaders of product and engineering teams to create innovative experiences.
• You are a great design team leader, manager, systems-level design thinker - with strong instincts and outstanding intuition - who will provide leadership and direction for a team of designers.
• Our ideal candidate has an uncanny sense for clean design, is a fierce advocate for the user, and is committed to creating elegantly simple user experiences from otherwise complex workflows. You also take the time to understand not just the execution side of design, but the business aspects of the products as well.

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Help establish and drive forward a vision for low code application authoring at Pega.
• Lead and mentor a team of talented UX / Product designers, overseeing the creation of exceptional design solutions for complex business challenges on our innovative platform, Launchpad—a PaaS tailored for SaaS businesses.
• Play an instrumental role in advancing 'Build,' our new Authoring Design System, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our clients.
• Collaborate with other design leaders to standardize and scale design solutions across the platform, enhancing usability and functionality.
• Engage with stakeholders at various levels, leveraging your deep industry knowledge to influence critical design decisions and ensure alignment with business goals. Coordinate with a global team to align design initiatives, ensuring consistency and integration across multiple projects.
• Conduct and oversee user research to validate design approaches and ensure they meet user needs and business objectives.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team, encouraging continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and design trends.

Who You Are:

• An experienced Product Design leader who understands the intersections between design and technology.
• A seasoned leader with 4 or more years of experience effectively managing UX / Product Designers.
• Able to effectively communicate design choices and champion user needs at every level of the organization.
• Passionate about exploring and implementing new technologies in ethical and impactful ways.

What You've Accomplished:

• Overall, 10+ years of work experience with exceptional experience in UX, Product Design, Information Architecture, and visual design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in solving complex information architecture problems, and scaling design in a large organization.
