Hey, Matt, it's great to see you. Um, in November, we had some pretty big wave news for Pega. And my question is, should I grab my surfboard, maybe head to the beach, bring my wetsuit? I love catching a good wave, don't you? Doesn't everybody? So I can kind of see what you're trying to do a little bit. And with the wave and the surfboard and you're going to get me to say something dorky, you're going to turn me into a meme. And the legal profession, they actually call this entrapment, you know that. Yes, I do, I do, I hear you, I respect your wishes. But, uh, you're Mr. Grumpy Pants, and I would like you for for you to tell everyone what real time interaction management software is or Artim Rtms actually is. We can talk about Artim software. So this is Forrester Research as a way of evaluating top solutions in a given technology or a given market category. In this case, that's real time interaction management software or software that helps clients optimize interactions with clients in real time, as those interactions are actually taking place. So they dig deep into strategy, into capabilities, client feedback. Basically, it's kind of like the Olympics for real time decisioning, but with more data, and nobody actually gets a medal at the end of it. But as a vendor, you try to get listed in the top right of the wave graphics.

That's cool. Yeah, I love it, I get it this year. Pega could customer decision essentially took gold, right? I mean, what set us apart? Exactly. So Forrester named us the leader, meaning that we had the top scores for our strategy, for our current offering and for market presence. So our product, Customer Decision Hub, helps clients decide exactly what to say to each individual customer as they interact with the brand across channel. So we tell them when to sell, when to serve, when to retain, when to educate. And it works really, really well. Like clients in industries like financial services or telecommunications even more, they use us for everything from personalized outbound marketing to real time digital marketing on mobile or the web, to everything to retention recommendations in the contact center. As you're talking to a customer and those people get huge value out of what we do. Cool. So that's great to hear. Earlier this year, we also commissioned Forrester to conduct a Total economic impact study of Pega Customer Decision Hub. Through interviewing a bunch of our clients, they found that they benefited from, on average, an uplift of $60 per customer per year. Things like a 15% reduction in churn rate, among other impacts, were those sort of use cases. Capabilities covered in this report are totally different.

So they absolutely are. The wave is designed to help clients get get those kinds of outcomes, but it does it by helping them evaluate vendors. So basically, Forrester identifies all the relevant vendors in the market, then examines their capabilities and their strategy, then ranks them based on how good they are at helping clients get the outcomes that they're actually looking for. So they look at things like how quickly you can make decisions, what channels you can do that on, how you operationalize the data and like what kind of impact that makes with customers. Like, like you said, like how much a vendor increases their click through and their conversion rates, their retention rates, like customer lifetime value is a huge metric for most of our customers, and it can literally create hundreds of millions of dollars in incremental value for a client every single year. Cool, I got it. So, Matt, if I'm a client, what's the big takeaway? Why should I care about this wave result? Okay, so I'd say there's probably three things you need to care about. So first, Forrester is a very objective and experienced firm. They conduct these very robust research studies for these high level and do these like high level market analysis. They dive deep into the software. They gather direct client feedback from our clients.

Right. So they evaluated Pega and scored us very highly against more than 30 different criteria. So if you're considering a solution in the space Peg like Peg needs to be on your short list, essentially. And second, Foerster also loves Peg's long term strategy, so they know we have a great current offering right now. But we're constantly innovating. We're constantly we're adding generative and agentic and operational capabilities every single year. So remember that when you're thinking about investing in Pega, that's a great long term investment too, not just for now, but for the future. Like. And our motto as a company is to build for change, right? We try to live up to that totally. So finally, with Pega Customer Decision Hub, you're not just investing in software, but you're investing in a community. So Foerster also loves the way we do enablement, that we build out things like expert circles and we how we support our partner ecosystem. We don't just sell to those folks, we help guarantee business adoption of the product, which is an absolutely huge deal. Okay, so it sounds to me like Pega is building a wave of momentum with real time interaction management. Matt. So kind of like a surfer who know. Absolutely not. Just that's entrapment. Okay. You're absolutely no fun today.
