Machine Readable Files (MRFs) Transparency Coverage Rule
The Transparency in Coverage Final Rule requires that certain group health plans disclose on a public website, in two separate machine-readable files (MRFs), information regarding in-network provider rates as well as historical out-of-network allowed amounts and billed charges for covered items and services.
