Senior Product Manager, Pega Cloud Infrastructure (Maternity Cover)
Meet Our Team:
Pega Poland is a leading technology hub in Europe, driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge software solutions. Employees are encouraged to collaborate, develop their skills, and share their expertise in an open and supportive environment. In addition to our passion for technology, we value an inclusive work environment and engaged community, care deeply of wellbeing of our employees by providing wellness programs and social initiatives.
We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager for Pega Cloud Infrastructure to own a defined infrastructure product area within a broader strategy. The focus is on cloud networking and connectivity, network security, and Kubernetes platform products - including Kubernetes operators and Service Mesh-related capabilities across AWS and GCP.
Picture Yourself at Pega:
You’ll work primarily with internal engineering, cloud operations, product management, engineering teams, with occasional engagement with customers for escalations, validation, or targeted discovery. You’ll own prioritization and backlog decisions within agreed strategy and guardrails, while partnering with a portfolio product leader on broader direction.
A central outcome is strengthening network security and compliance while enabling secure, scalable shared-platform capabilities. You’ll help teams balance customer-specific requests against solutions that can be operated and reused across the platform, and help maintain a consistent customer experience across cloud providers where appropriate.
Pega Cloud Product Management maximizes value for customers and clients through immersion in their perspectives, translation of their needs into product offerings, and transparency and alignment with stakeholders to ensure that the right work gets done by the right teams at the right time.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Own discovery, prioritization, requirements, delivery alignment, launch readiness, and outcome follow-through for your infrastructure product area.
- Build and maintain an evidence-based roadmap and prioritized backlog, translating operational, engineering, security, and customer needs into clear product outcomes.
- Partner closely with engineering, cloud operations, SRE, and incident-response teams to understand platform needs, operational constraints, incidents, and opportunities to reduce toil.
- Work with Security and Risk partners to ensure product decisions align with established controls; translate agreed needs into clear priorities and acceptance criteria.
- Drive progress on network security and compliance outcomes, while helping teams assess risks and tradeoffs early.
- Help shape capabilities across AWS and GCP, pursuing a consistent customer experience while recognizing where provider-specific differences are justified.
- Make thoughtful tradeoffs between one-off customer needs and scalable shared-platform solutions.
- Communicate priorities, decisions, dependencies, and risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Engage customers selectively for escalations, targeted discovery, and validation.
- Work effectively in Agile teams and use the organization’s Agentic Engineering workflow in product discovery, requirements, and delivery.
Who You Are:
- Experience owning complex technical product work, with evidence of effective cross-functional delivery.
- Strong product-level understanding of AWS or GCP services, including the problems they solve and the value they can deliver; experience with the other cloud can be learned.
- Prior product experience with cloud networking and security, and Kubernetes platform products.
- Ability to turn complex technical, operational, and security input into clear priorities, requirements, and acceptance criteria. You do not need to implement infrastructure or replace engineering expertise.
- Sound judgment in prioritizing competing needs, especially customer-specific requests versus reusable platform capabilities.
- A track record of creating clarity and alignment across engineering, operations, and security teams.
- Strong communication, follow-through, and openness to learning.
Helpful, but not required:
- Experience with Pega Cloud or a comparable enterprise SaaS platform.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes operators, service mesh, or related platform capabilities, e.g., CKA, CKAD exams.
- Experience in organizations using Agentic Engineering workflows.
What You've Accomplished:
In the first 6–12 months, you will have:
- Established a trusted, evidence-based roadmap for your product area.
- Built strong working alignment across engineering, operations, and security.
- Made prioritization and tradeoffs clear to partners.
- Shown visible progress on the highest-priority customer and security outcomes.
- Followed through on delivery and launch readiness, and used results to inform what comes next.
Pega Offers You:
- A highly collaborative environment for designing and development of new ideas and features.
- A culture where employees engage deeply, own outcomes and lead from the front.
- Continuous learning and career opportunities – internal and external training opportunities, area for own initiatives.
- An inclusive, agile, and flexible work environment - we offer a variety of engaging social initiatives, from sports and charity events to recreational activities.
- Fix-term agreement (maternity cover) and benefits package (bonus incentive, Medical and Group Insurance, Multisport, Employee Assistance Program and that’s not all).
- Flexible work mode: hybrid (min. 2 days/week from the office). Our modern office is located in Krakow (Bonarka4Business Center). We hope you will enjoy Pega relax/game rooms and social/sport initiatives soon!
