What You'll Do at Pega:
- Partner with world-leading Japanese and regional clients to deliver high-quality technical solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring outcomes that align with both business goals and cultural expectations
- Leverage your outstanding technical consulting expertise to design and demonstrate innovative, scalable software solutions tailored to the needs of Japan-based enterprises
- Mentor and train clients in Pega technology, building their internal capability and confidence in the platform
- Apply your Thought Leadership to engage, educate, and enable client resources on industry trends and Pega Best Practices, with sensitivity to the Japanese business environment
- Collaborate with a high-performing Pega delivery team to ensure every solution meets or exceeds client expectations, on time and to the highest standard
Who You Are:
You are a highly technical, hands-on Systems Architect who is passionate about exploring and applying Pega technology to solve complex business problems. You bring 5–10 years of software development experience and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. You have solid knowledge of and experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, and broad exposure to a range of technologies including, but not limited to, WebSphere or WebLogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .Net, Oracle, DB2, and MS/SQL. You demonstrate strong knowledge and applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles. To excel in this Japan-based role, you possess excellent language ability in both English and Japanese, enabling you to communicate fluently and with confidence across client engagements, stakeholder discussions, and delivery team collaboration throughout the region.
What You've Accomplished:
- You have designed and implemented model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications that have delivered tangible, measurable value to clients
- You bring hands-on experience with a broad range of technologies, including object-oriented design principles, database design, and application and web servers
- You have a strong track record of successful customer engagement and project delivery, ideally in Japan or across the Asia-Pacific region
- You bring 3–5+ years of experience working with industry-leading technologies to realize your solution designs and vision in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
- You are regarded as a trusted advisor and thought leader by your clients — someone who brings both technical depth and strategic clarity to every engagement
