The Digital team at Pegasystems creates, maintains and continuously improves the websites that help people learn, sell and buy Pega applications. The 8+ digital properties we work on span internal and external audiences across offices in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.
Picture Yourself at Pega:
We are looking for an experienced React developer to join our growing global team. You will work with a diverse global team of developers, designers, and content creators to help shape React and web digital experiences.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Lead Pega UI initiatives and provide solutions to complex problems
- Manage and coordinate work amongst a team of developers to ensure work is done in a timely manner
- Build and code enterprise level React applications and UI design system
- Resolve complex issues reported on existing applications
- Partner with other IT teams to seamlessly integrate React applications and UI solutions with Pega’s enterprise systems
- Refine complex requirements into bite sized technical specs
- Communicate effectively with project managers, product owners, and development team members to facilitate understanding of deliverables, estimates, and prioritization
- Help with the technical evolution of the Pega Digital IT React and Design System framework
- Implement development best practices
Who You Are:
A motivated, and accomplished web developer with a record of accomplishment of building state-of-the-art, scalable, extensible, and feature rich React applications, with the following qualities:
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on projects
- Passionate about learning and applying new JavaScript and web technology
- Committed to collaboration and teamwork in all facets of development
- Excellent critical reasoning, oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Have experimented with Generative AI Applications
What You've Accomplished:
- 7+ of React experience
- 7+ experience working with Design Systems
- 10+ years HTML/CSS/Javascript development experience with a CMS
- 5+ years experience with GIT with branching strategies like GitFlow
- 5+ years experience with agile software development and Scrum
- Experience building UI Experiences in Drupal, helpful
- BS or equivalent
