A Cloud Quality Lead is a pivotal member of the Cloud Engineering team, with the primary focus of driving high-quality test-driven product development within an agile team environment. This champion of quality plays a significant role in designing new services features and is a member of a broad cross-functional team of product managers and developers. He/She is responsible for skillfully converting requirements into Test Design, Test Cases, and Test Execution for the creation of Pega Cloud Services. Additionally, this role is accountable for covering two dimensions: helping service teams define quality strategy and choose the right tools, and working with high-level stakeholders to ensure Pega Cloud infrastructure is best in class.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Continuously lead testing efforts on a multi-discipline Agile/Scrum team, promoting test-driven development, and drive test case design and implementation for new and existing product features, including translating new user stories and features into test case designs.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation infrastructure; troubleshoot and address issues.
- Identify, quickly learn, and incorporate new testing technologies and methodologies into existing infrastructure and team development behavior.
- Actively engage with high-level stakeholders to understand quality challenges and propose enhancements to the existing approach
Who You Are:
As a Cloud Quality Lead, you will have a track record of focusing on quality in a high-paced, growth-oriented business environment where capabilities are continually stretched. With years of development or testing experience, you have sound application development skills using an enterprise platform, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
What You've Accomplished:
Bachelor of Computer Science or similar field.
• 10+ years of development or testing experience, preferably in a SaaS company.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or similar cloud technologies.
• Knowledgeable in multiple testing technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
