The Pega Government Industry Market team is a high-impact part of Pega’s Industry Markets organization, driving public sector digital transformation and experiencing significant growth with even greater potential ahead. As a global team of government experts and former public sector leaders, we support regional priorities while shaping global solutions.
No two days are the same—you might help develop strategy around a policy change, present to senior government decision-makers, collaborate with Government Relations, or share the latest developments in GenAI Blueprint and the Pega Cloud for Government roadmap. You'll work alongside smart, curious, and collaborative colleagues who enjoy tackling complex challenges together.
With c30% travel you must be close to an International Airport for EU wide opportunities. This job is based out of Germany or the Netherlands.

Support Pega’s Government go-to-market strategy in the EU market and globally by providing accountability and ownership for activities tied to Pega’s efforts in target the Government vertical and covered subindustries e.g., state and local, Federal, Defense and Intelligence.
As a key member of the global Government team, you will play an integral part in the development and execution of industry-specific sales and market-facing content, go-to-market programs and client engagement strategies to increase brand awareness and promote Pega solutions for the sector in the EU, and globally.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Partner with customers, prospects, sales, solution consulting, and partners to shape and execute the EMEA Government industry market strategy. Represent Pega as an industry thought leader.
- Drive thought leadership, sales enablement, and marketing initiatives through industry content, events, social media, blogs, product positioning, and market-facing assets.
- Act as a trusted advisor on workflow automation and modernization, engaging credibly with clients and partners throughout their transformation journey.
- Develop regional go-to-market strategies and globally scalable solutions focused on communications, customer service, and intelligent process automation.
- Collaborate with product and solution teams to create compelling demos by defining personas, journeys, and real-world use cases.
Who You Are:
A creative and strategic business and technology thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage in a matrix. You have an excellent attention to detail including creating end products with a high degree of finish.
You have in-depth knowledge of software, delivery, compliance, and procurement requirements within the EU government sectors and are able to translate such knowledge into comprehensive strategies and market value for Pega. You have a strong drive to succeed, demonstrate integrity, and top-tier thought leadership.
What You've Accomplished:
- Bachelor’s degree and ideally a graduate degree in business.
- Extensive experience as a senior government lead and/or consulting leader, especially in leading and/or evangelizing sector-specific digital transformation strategies working with government organizations.
- Preferably experience in an SI/Advisory firm AND as a public servant.
- Depth of experience with process automation, CRM, and digital transformation across multiple communications sectors helpful.
- Fluency in English plus at least 2 of the following: Dutch, German, French
