As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work within a collaborative engineering team, where you will be tasked with developing thoughtful test designs and applying innovative technologies to develop the best quality solutions. You’ll help us develop Pega’s next generation SaaS platform for Low code, AI driven intelligent automation. What You'll Do at Pega:
- Work collaboratively with team members to design, develop, test, and document features, including the development, and deployment of high-quality software in our microservice architecture Launchpad product
- Provide technical assistance to advance the capabilities of products and resolve complex issues
- Learn and leverage Kotlin, Kubernetes, Kafka and other cloud technologies in new and innovative ways to help grow Pegasystems’ proprietary platform
- Monitor our services and analyze problems to find the best solution
Who You Are:
You are passionate about engineering and eager to develop your skills within an enterprise environment while working with an industry-leading product. You have strong Kotlin or Java skills. You learn quickly and are think outside the box. You are inquisitive and understand when to ask for help to progress your assignments
- Currently pursuing BS Degree in Computer Science
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Production software development experience in Kotlin, Java, C++, or other OO language
- Ability to learn quickly and take action
- Ability to work collaboratively in a Scrum team to brainstorm, plan, and develop new features
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Information
The pay range for this role is $32 – $37 per hour. Final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions, and may vary from the posted range.
