As a Senior Solutions Consultant specializing in cross-industry solutions, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Pega’s mission to drive digital transformation across Japan’s leading enterprises in telecommunications, high-tech, and media services. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, analysts, and business officers to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and solution delivery across diverse industries.

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Strategic Cross-Industry Solution Architecture: Design and propose robust solutions addressing complex challenges in telecommunications, high-tech, media, and financial services. Deliver expertise in process automation, customer management, and regulatory compliance tailored to each industry. 
  • Intelligent Automation Advocacy: Drive adoption of advanced automation powered by AI, including agentic AI for customer engagement and smart workflow implementation. 
  • Pega Customer Service Expertise: Transform customer service operations using the Pega platform, enabling omnichannel support and AI-driven customer assistance.
  • Agentic AI Implementation: Guide the design and deployment of autonomous AI agent systems for decision-making, process optimization, and real-time customer interaction.
  • Digital Transformation Leadership: Lead clients on their digital transformation journey, leveraging intelligent automation and agentic AI to achieve business outcomes.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Expertise: Advise on Pega’s capabilities to address industry-specific regulations, such as the Telecommunications Business Act, KYC/AML in financial services, and  personal data protection requirements.
  • 2030 Vision Development: Co-create strategic roadmaps with clients, integrating emerging technologies such as intelligent automation, agentic AI, and digital ecosystem collaboration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Consulting teams to deliver world-class technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to position Pega solutions effectively in the Japanese market.

What You've Accomplished:

  • Growth mindset as a next-generation leader, with 5+ years of technical sales experience in cross-industry SaaS solutions (telecommunications, high-tech, media services, insurance). 
  • Proficiency in advanced technologies, including agile development, requirements engineering, AI, BPMS, workflow, CRM, customer service, and cloud platforms.
  • Expertise in intelligent automation, with hands-on experience implementing AI-driven process automation, workflow optimization, and agentic AI solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Pega Customer Service, contact center optimization, and customer experience enhancement.
  • Knowledge of agentic AI systems and collaborative human-AI workflow design.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in both Japanese and English, with a proven ability to build effective relationships with C-level executives and technical teams.
  • Ability to bridge Japanese business culture and global stakeholder collaboration.
  • Passion for driving digital transformation and customer success.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry is highly valued.
  • 8+ years of multi-industry experience, with broad business process expertise in telecommunications, high-tech, media services.
  • Experience developing and selling enterprise software solutions to large organizations.
  • Technical leadership in enterprise architecture, API integration, cloud platforms, and modern software development.
  • Strategic business acumen, including business strategy alignment, complex project leadership, and executive engagement.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Proven track record in new market development, strategic partnerships, and competitive differentiation.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams and applying international best practices to the Japanese market.
