As a Lead Business Architect, you will be the bridge between our clients' strategic ambitions and the technology that brings them to life. Working at the intersection of business analysis, process design, and Pega platform delivery, you will partner with senior stakeholders across Japan's leading organizations to translate complex business needs into elegant, scalable solutions. You will collaborate closely with technical architects, shape the direction of client engagements, and mentor both client teams and junior colleagues — all while championing Pega's AI-first, low-code delivery philosophy. What You'll Do at Pega:

• Drive delivery excellence across all phases of client engagements — from scope definition and requirements analysis through functional design, application build, configuration, and production deployment — producing high-quality deliverables that meet and exceed client expectations.
• Lead and facilitate elaboration and grooming sessions with business stakeholders, maximizing the use of Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) and App Studio to ensure requirements are captured with precision and speed.
• Champion simplicity and speed by driving designs that leverage Pega's Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) components and low-code options, reducing build time and increasing solution sustainability.
• Collaborate closely with Lead System Architects (LSA) to align on case design, system architecture, and user story development sequencing — ensuring business and technical perspectives are always in sync.
• Embed Pega Express Methodology and Journey-Centric delivery principles across every engagement, coaching teams to adopt rapid delivery approaches that maximize business value, fast.
• Support business growth by partnering with Account Executives and Consulting Solutions Executives in the pursuit of new opportunities, contributing your domain expertise to solution conceptualization and client presentations.
• Mentor and develop client business stakeholders and co-production teams in key Pega functionality, ensuring they are equipped to maintain and evolve delivered solutions long after go-live..

What You've Accomplished:

• Professional experience: A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, functional design, and enterprise application delivery.
• Domain expertise: At least 4 years of industry domain experience — ideally in Financial Services, Insurance, Telecommunications, or a related sector relevant to Japan's market landscape.
• Technical foundation: Demonstrated familiarity with Object-Oriented (OO) concepts and enterprise application architecture principles.
• Pega certifications: Current Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) and Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) credentials; candidates who are committed to completing these within 3 months of joining will also be considered.
• Language proficiency: Business-level Japanese (or above) and business-level English for internal and client-facing communication.
• Partner experience: Familiarity with major Japanese system integrators such as NEC, Fujitsu, or NTT Data is a strong plus.
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50–75%, primarily within Japan and occasionally across the APAC region.
