You will be joining Pega’s Accessibility Team to ensure that Pega’s products are built for compliance with applicable accessibility standards and legislation. As a team member, you will work closely with product teams and be the point person for our customers, support teams, sales and customer success manager for accessibility.
You will perform hands-on accessibility testing using a variety of assistive technology and provide education and guidance on how to create compliant and accessible applications through design and configuration best practices. What You'll Do at Pega:
Collaborate with our front-end teams, support teams, sales and client success to ensure that our out-of-the-box solutions and authoring tools meet accessibility and compliance standards
Drive best practices through collaboration, training and documentation to optimize configuration and testing for accessibility
Innovate and drive product enhancements and priorities based on client and audit results and feedback
Provide accessibility testing with various assistive technologies as required by our clients
Partner with our support team to assess and resolve client accessibility-related issues
Partner with our sales and customer success teams to optimize our client experience when it comes to their goals around accessibility

What You've Accomplished:
Minimum 2+ years of experience working in solution consultant capacity, working within authoring tools and applications
1-2 years of experience in testing websites to ensure conformance to WCAG 2.0 Level AA, AAA, Section 508.
Have experience in using assistive technology, particularly screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA and Voiceover as well as experience using ZoomText magnifier
Have working knowledge of accessibility standards i.e. WCAG, ARIA, Section 508, ATAG,
Strong understanding of W3C standards-compliant HTML and CSS, including WAI-ARIA
Good at communicating and explaining accessibility concepts to cross-functional teams
Experience using web accessibility evaluation tools like Axe, Lighthouse or ANDI
Bachelor’s degree or any degree
Preferred: Certified Pega Solution Architect
IAAP or other accessibility related certification a plus

Additional Information
Base salary range for this role is INR annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.
The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
