Siemens fires the starting shot for NextGenP2P

Another success of the long-standing partnership between Siemens and Pega - this time together with KPMG. NextGenP2P is a fully digital Purchase-2-Pay processing service that automates the entire process, accelerates execution, increases process quality and agility, and reduces costs. Siemens will launch the new service corporate-wide and market it externally as well.

Our new service platform is not just a normal automation project. It is real digital innovation. A new generation purchase-to-pay service, in which end-to-end is not merely a buzzword, but a fundamental principle brought to life. The accounts payable module, second P as we call it, has already gone live with our first pilot. We will achieve higher quality, better performance, and optimized cost. But what is more and maybe equally important, we are setting a new standard in terms of user experience. We must not forget our users, and the efforts we create for our customers, and our interfaces in their processes. Once we have established an operative tested platform in both Ps, purchasing and payment, we plan to make the service available to the market. Delivering tangible business results also outside the Siemens group of companies. Together with KPMG, our co-development partner.
