Meet Our Team:

We focus on facilitating and optimizing the software development, delivery, and operations processes. As part of the Internal Development Experience organization, our team is responsible for developing and maintaining tools that support large-scale test automation, software quality, and infrastructure automation. You will collaborate with engineers from global locations, including the US, Poland, and India.

 

Picture Yourself at Pega:

As a DevOps Engineer Intern, you will have a meaningful impact on how our developers create and deliver software within a microservices architecture. You will work alongside passionate engineering professionals dedicated to improving software development and release processes. You will design, operate, and integrate GitHub Enterprise automation (apps/actions), quality signals, and test execution into CI/CD pipelines—driving measurable improvements in pull request throughput, build health, and test reliability from discovery through resolution. 

 

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Work with top-tier technologies, including GitHub, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, and more.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and refine our CI/CD processes for hundreds of microservices projects.
  • Build backend services supporting the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Collaborate with other teams to standardize patterns, reusable fragments, and shared libraries across repositories.
  • Contribute documentation to support the adoption of internal tooling and best practices.

 

Who You Are:

You are at least third-year Computer Science or related field student. You are a bright, fast learner with a passion for the software development process, eager to engage in impactful work and learn best practices for testing large-scale, complex systems.

You also have:

  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems, containers, and at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Groovy, Kotlin, Java, Bash, or JavaScript.
  • A strong interest in modern technologies and frameworks, and excitement about applying and expanding your knowledge through real-world projects.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities that help you approach technical challenges methodically.
  • Effective communication skills and comfort using English in a professional environment while collaborating with diverse teams across our global organization.

Additional Information

The pay range for this role is PLN 5500 - 6000 gross/ month. Final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions, and may vary from the posted range. Information on benefits and other applicable perks will be shared at the relevant stage of the recruitment process.
