Meet Our Team:

The Customer Engagement team has the mission of accelerating Pega’s growth and scaling our business in relation to RTIM (Real Time Interaction Management) through Pega's AI-powered Customer Decision Hub - delivering Industry leading ROI and Customer Value Optimization for our clients. As a Customer Engagement Client Exeutive, you will report directly into the regional (German) Pega sales organization, but be supported through matrix reporting by EMEA Customer Engagement Sales Leadership, and enjoy the full support of the wider Go-to-Market team for Customer Engagement.

You will be leading Customer Engagement sales across selected German enterprise accounts. This is a stand alone role on the German market (with peers in other European countries) and will be shaped by a highly autonomous and collaborative individual! 

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Penetrate new organizations/accounts or radiate within the existing customer base for Real-Time Customer Engagement opportunities to meet or exceed defined booking targets.
  • Based on expertise providing insight to the customer as the basis of the commercial conversation, teaching customers something new/valuable about how to compete in their market
  • Through training, become deeply conversant in Pegasystems’ value propositions for Real-Time Customer Engagement and AI-powered Customer Decisioning , including the technology, differentiators and customer references to learn how to map solutions to client needs and develop an expertise in Pegasystems Real-Time Customer Engagement advantages.
  • Work and sell with Partners on Real-Time Customer Engagement opportunities.

Who You Are:

  • Proven track record in selling to and influencing senior executives in marketing, retention, customer experience, (digital) channels, data and analytics, customer value management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both senior business and IT managers within large blue-chip organizations. Highly proficient in English & German
  • Excited to contribute to entrepreneurial, high growth and pressurized environment
  • Curiosity and believe in personal growth. Able to grasp new technology concepts quickly and think creatively – including rapidly changing AI landscape
  • Able to communicate and organize up, down and across the organization to get desired outcomes

What You've Accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8-10+ years’ selling complex enterprise software solutions to major organizations and / or equivalent in a marketing services / consultancy / agency environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of the CMO, CDAO, Retention Executive, Revenue Officer etc., Next Best Action, predictive analytics, machine learning, Generative AI and real-time marketing services and products from an enterprise technology perspective.
  • Thorough understanding of the Digital Marketing landscape including Paid Media & Social.
