Senior Machine Learning & AI Engineer

• Pega is changing the way the world builds software. Our goal is to be the no. 1 CRM SaaS company in the world. In this role you will be developing, testing, and deploying Large Language models (LLMs), NLP Models, Predictive models, Recommendation systems, and other analytical solutions.
• This role involves leading end-to-end model development, from problem formulation to implementation, including MLOps practices.

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Develop AI-based applications and algorithms
• Design, test, and build software components for AI applications
• Collaborate with data scientists on algorithm development
• Create prototypes and proofs-of-concept for new ideas
• Lead model development, implementation and deployment end-to-end incl. MLOps.  You will be driving problem formulation, modeling approach, implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring
• Partner with product managers to drive productization of ideas into shippable solutions
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences

Who You Are:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience with Python and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Experience in building end-to-end machine learning solutions in NLP
• Experience using, finetuning Generative AI models
• Proficient in collaborative development tools and practices (GitHub, CI/CD, DevOps)
• Strong communication and project leadership abilities
• Teamwork and collaboration skills

What You've Accomplished:

• 4 - 6 years of development experience preferably in a product development company.
• Strong knowledge of programming language like Python, Java
• Need to be strong problem solver and critical thinker.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization.
• Proficiency with DNN frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and big data sets.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Good Communication skills.
• Experience working on Kubernetes/Cloud architected solutions would be an added advantage.
• Experience with cloud-based orchestration technologies, e.g. Airflow, KubeFlow, etc.
