You will partner with agency stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams to deliver secure, scalable, mission-focused Pega solutions.

As a Solution Builder Lead System Architect, you will serve as the senior technical advisor on client engagements, helping federal, state, and local agencies transform operations through the Pega Platform. You are more than a technical architect. You are a trusted consultant who understands agency objectives, uncovers root causes, challenges assumptions, and guides clients toward the right solution. You connect business intent to technical execution, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with mission outcomes. 

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture and technical direction for assigned client engagements. 
• Lead architecture and client delivery for complex U.S. Public Sector Pega implementations. 
• Align technical decisions with agency mission objectives, security requirements, and delivery constraints. 
• Translate Blueprint designs into secure, scalable, and implementation-ready solution architectures. 
• Partner during discovery to validate feasibility, scope, data, integrations, security, and nonfunctional requirements. 
• Guide delivery teams through implementation while maintaining alignment with approved business intent and architectural standards. 
• Apply modern Pega capabilities, including Blueprint, Constellation, Pega Infinity, Pega Cloud, and AI-assisted development. 
• Establish technical governance through architecture reviews, guardrail compliance, performance assessments, risk management, and production readiness. 
• Partner with Business Architects to ensure business intent, solution design, and technical architecture remain aligned throughout delivery. 
• Serve as a trusted advisor by practicing active listening, leading difficult stakeholder discussions, and communicating architectural recommendations, tradeoffs, and risks to executive and technical audiences. 
• Build trusted relationships with agency executives, program leaders, and technical stakeholders while serving as a strategic advisor throughout the engagement. 

Who You Are:

• Maintains active Pega Lead and System Architect certification and demonstrates an ongoing commitment to staying current with the latest Pega platform innovations, capabilities, and best practices. 
• A consulting-minded technical leader with experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions for federal, state, or local government agencies. 
• Skilled in Pega Blueprint, Constellation, Pega Cloud, case management, integrations, data, security, DevOps, performance, and technical governance. 
• Able to connect business objectives, solution design, and technical implementation into a cohesive architecture. 
• A trusted advisor who builds executive confidence, influences decisions, and aligns executives, program leaders, architects, security teams, and delivery organizations around mission outcomes. 
• Experience navigating complex government stakeholder environments, competing priorities, procurement constraints, and regulatory requirements. 

What You've Accomplished:

• Led complex Public Sector Pega implementations through design, build, deployment, and production readiness. 
• Built credibility with agency executives, program leaders, enterprise architects, and delivery teams. 
• Designed and delivered solutions that meet government security, accessibility, and compliance requirements. 
• Established technical governance and successfully resolved complex architecture and delivery challenges. 
• Supported opportunity shaping, demonstrations, proposals, and account growth.

Additional Information

Base salary range for this role is 141,400 - 215,400 USD annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.

The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
