Christiane Stein is a news journalist and presenter. For ten years she was News Anchor at the news channel n-tv. The business administration graduate leads through numerous conferences and congresses from industry, business and politics. Her main topics are digitalization, innovations and artificial intelligence.
Georg Knöpfle is partner in IT consulting at KPMG and based in Munich. For the last 20 years he has specialized in the development of financial organizations (Shared Services). For the last 8 years he has headed the "Intelligent Automation Unit" throughout Germany. His current focus is the automation of financial processes with modern technologies.
Oliver Karalus has spent his entire career in the consulting and software industry. In collaboration with leading companies, especially in the financial and industrial sectors, he is considered a pioneer of Start-2-Start digitization. His focus is global companies, assisting them in driving productivity and growth through improved customer excellence and intelligent automation. He has been an integral part of Pega since 2009 and established a strategic partnership with Siemens in 2015, which has since developed into a continuous win-win scenario.
Kai-Eberhard Lueg heads the operational business of Siemens Global Business Services. He looks back on a total of 15 years of international experience in the Siemens Shared Services environment in various management positions, such as Head of Business Process Shared Services and Finance Shared Services as well as CFO of Global Shared Services. Prior to these positions, he was the global CFO of the Siemens Wind Power Division. In this role, he managed the ramp-up of Siemens Wind Power as a multi-billion Euro industrial unit, including the implementation of all relevant support structures (e.g. Finance, HR, IT, SCM, etc.). His CV covers various senior management positions in both operational and business management in an international environment, including e.g. the development of risk management systems in Corporate Audit and support in the establishment of first shared services structures in Corporate Finance.
Christina Herweg has been Product Manager since 2011 and Portfolio Manager since 2016 at DB Systel GmbH. She is responsible for the development of new standard services or solutions for all subsidiaries of the DB Group. Since 2017, she has been responsible for the new specialist topics relating to business processes and digital solution options - in this context, she is also a key driver for setting up a new organizational unit, Process Intelligence, within the new agile working environment of DB Systel GmbH. The following new services are assigned to the new Process Intelligence unit: Process Intelligence Consulting, Process Modeling, Workflow and Case Management, Robotic Process Automation and Process Mining. Prior to this, Christina Herweg was a product manager in the further education sector for middle to higher management as well as a manager for several years in various areas of the automotive industry.
Susanne Auinger is responsible for the tactical and strategic partnership development of DB IT - Environment with a focus on digitalization of 4.0 and future technologies, in direct responsibility of defined key partners. Prior to assuming this role in 2016, she was Head of Sales Channel Management and led a team of experts in the area of sourcing for another five years. In her career, she gained experience as a domain expert and as a leader in ICT marketing and sales, managing international sourcing projects and key account businesses as well as cooperations. Susanne Auinger also led an EU research project MASAI (Mobility based on Service Aggregation and Application Networking) within the European Chapter H2020, analyzed new technologies and investigated and developed tools to enable a seamless travel experience in Europe.
Nico Mueller is responsible for the digitalization, optimization and automation of end-to-end business processes in the order-to-cash area. Prior to this role he worked in various functions at the interface between process, IT and project management within the Siemens Shared Service / GBS organization. Prior to his functions at Siemens Shared Service he worked in the commercial area and in IT/ERP consulting.
Matthias Burkhart is responsible for designing and implementing efficient e2e processes and continuously improving these applications. Prior to this position in Shared Services, he worked in Corporate Finance on the optimization of accounting processes, in a governance role. He was responsible for financial system process audits and project reviews in the Corporate Finance Audit department. He started his career at KPMG in IT Consulting and Accounting Advisory Services.
Simeon Weibler is currently the product owner in an agile software development project that leads the product design of NextGenP2P to drive automation and process harmonization in Siemens' global processing centers. In the past, he has worked on a number of large financial transformation projects with a special focus on high-volume and highly complex transaction processing.
Dirk Böning-Corterier has been working for Deutsche Bahn's digital partner for over 10 years. As project manager and consultant he has successfully implemented major projects. Since 2011, he has been driving forward the development of agile and self-organized teams in order to advance the railroad company with the rapid implementation of digital solutions.
Doris Barth works as a senior project manager in the corporate program "FINANCE 4 DB", which deals with digitization and the resulting process changes in the finance functions of Deutsche Bahn. For more than 20 years, she has held management positions in the controlling department of the DB Group.
Luisa Thiele manages digital speedboat projects at FINANCE 4 DB (F4DB), testing the use of new technology solutions and their potential for DB's finance department. She has been working as a project manager in the corporate program F4DB for two years.
