Picture Yourself at Pega:
As the Technical Product Owner, you will define the technical product vision, capabilities, use cases, personas, and comprehensive backlog for PeopleHub - our branded SAP SuccessFactors solution. Moreover, you will ensure these capabilities are well understood across the relevant parts of the organization and align with the needs of the business across departments.
You will actively participate in working groups for company-wide strategic initiatives as they apply to HRIS systems and PeopleHub. Regularly update the People Technology Portfolio roadmap based on a clear understanding of our People Organization’s business needs, the needs of other business units, Pega technical standards best practices, and HRIS/SuccessFactors technical best practices.
You will work with the various internal stakeholders to develop and maintain a comprehensive backlog of all requests and initiatives across Pega and ensure they align well with the People Team’s roadmap and vision. You will lead the definition, prioritization, and coordinated delivery of state-of-the-art HRIS capabilities across design, engineering, and release management teams.
You will focus on iterative and incremental delivery of features and enhancements to our HRIS system(s) on a month-to-month basis, adopted and fully aligned with the broader vision and roadmap for the HRIS System (SAP SuccessFactors).
You will engage in enterprise thought leadership and step up and take accountability for clarifying uncertainty, ambiguity, and obstacles in support of delivering best-in-class HRIS technical solutions.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the product feature backlog and development for SuccessFactors features and enhancements.
- You will work closely with the technology team to develop detailed requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of what is to be implemented or built
- You will actively address roadblocks to ensure the completion of release and sprint goals.
- You will lead in product-release plans, setting expectations for delivering new functionalities
- As the SAP SucessFactors Subject Matter Expert, you will excel at sharing and documenting your knowledge
- You will present updates to the People Leadership and maintain a transparent intake process to monitor requests and issues
- Effective communication with internal and external customers, including clear timelines and expectations, is key to this role.
- Actively and collaborativley mitigate roadblocks impacting successful completion of release/sprint goals.

SAP SuccessFactors Innovation, Strategy, and Product Roadmap
- Define the product area vision, capabilities, use cases, and personas; ensure they are well understood across the relevant parts of the organization.
- Actively participate in working groups for company-wide strategic initiatives
- Regularly update the delivery roadmap (3 months out) and full year quarterly roadmap
- Regularly interact with stakeholders for product roadmap influence
What You've Accomplished:
- 10+ years of experience with a variety of HRIS systems (SuccessFactors, Workday, UKG)
- 7+ years with SuccessFactors.as a hands on implementation consultant
- 5+ years of experience in product development or project management
- 3+ years of experience integrating SuccessFactors with other enterprise systems using the oData API and 3rd party APIs that use XML, JSON and SOAP
- In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles. Formal Scrum training a plus.
- Ability to prioritize features and functions by business value and ROI
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related discipline
