Pegasystems is looking for a Director of Sales (Enterprise) based in Amsterdam. You will lead a team of talented sales and client success individuals and be responsible for some of Pega’s largest clients across the Benelux region. We are looking for a pivotal leader and key addition to the North Europe Region Management Team. The region benefits from Pega’s 40+-year history of transformation and innovation, but needs a leader to drive our cutting edge AI led workflow and decisioning capability, guided by our mantra, Build for Change™

This unique opportunity involves hiring and coaching a world-class enterprise sales team, developing pipelines, strategic planning, account management, accurate forecasting, and consistently achieving defined sales quotas within the MEDDPICC qualification framework. 

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Inspire your team to reach their full potential by listening, empowering, and driving accountability through empathetic leadership. Foster a collaborative, high-trust culture of top achievers, emphasizing OnePega sales engagement and a strong learning environment. 
  • Set sales targets and ensure pipeline and forecast accuracy. Engage meaningfully with C-level executives to create value, drive outcomes, and identify significant upselling opportunities. 
  • Implement a Sell-With and Sell-To strategy by leveraging top SI’s, MSPs, and consulting firms in the Benelux region. 
  • Hire, train, and coach new and existing team members to develop compelling territory plans, integrating the best of Pega’s internal ecosystem (marketing, inside sales, legal, presales, etc.) for successful deal realization.

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You are a natural coach and mentor, thriving in these roles. You bring to Pega a proven track record of sales and leadership performance, characterized not just by a network of C-level connections, but by a wealth of best practices and innovative approaches. A focus on sales rigor and pace, you are humble, authentic, and curious, and you excel in a SaaS environment. 

What You've Accomplished:

  • BA/BS/Masters or equivalent work experience  
  • 15+ years of industry-related sales experience, including 5+ years of experience in sales management 
  • Business or fluent English expected, Dutch an advantage.
  • Enterprise SAAS and/or complex software transformation solution sales background  
  • Strong listening, communication, and negotiation skills.   
  • Proven track record of developing individuals
