Government Forum 2014 Presentation: From Business Problem to Business Opportunity â€“ Continuous Enterprise Change
A case study of a recent implementation of Business Process Management (BPM) technology in a highly-complex California government enterprise. Pressing business problems were tackled head-on. BPM delivered the means to achieve sought after transformational change. Strategic use of BPM enabled this large enterprise to address a significant business challenge. The relationship of business process reengineering and organization change management, during the initial phases of the project, is a key feature of this implementation. Moreover, how BPM technology supported business change through enterprise integration is also highlighted. Last, but not least, lessons learned from this employment of BPM are revealed by the actual team responsible for the implementation.
