Pegaworld 2016 promises to be the most comprehensive Digital Transformation (DX) event of the year! Some of the most exciting sessions are the keynotes and presentations by Pega customers about their digital transformation journeys with the Pega 7 Platform, Pega CRM applications, Pega Field Service, as well as other Pega strategic applications. As Pega customers try to leverage digitization, especially to automate work, they are often faced with a healthy tension between two compelling approaches:
- Digital innovation speed: This includes accelerated and expressed digital application development for automation, especially leveraging digital technologies including social, mobile, analytics, cloud, and the Internet of Things (IoT), as well as automated processes (including robotic automation) and dynamic cases.
- Digital competency best practices: This includes the enablement of resources for building and executing digital solutions. Methodologies include process excellence, agile, and DevOps; governance to ensure the Pega platform’s guardrails are followed; and re-use to optimize delivery of work automation solutions.
Digital Transformation Center of Excellence (CoE) practices focus on the latter. In the digital era, the role of the Pega CoE for Digital Transformation is becoming more important and expanding in scope. During Pegaworld 2016, two sessions will cover these topics, especially best practices for DX:
- Pegaworld 2016 DX CoE Breakout Session:This will be a panel discussion where Pega customers Siemens, Scotia Bank, and DLL will share their experiences. Time: Tuesday, June 7 at 2:30 p.m.
- PegaWORLD 2016 DX CoE Bootcamp:This will include group discussions around interesting DX topics, ideas, and best practices. There will be a brief presentation by Pega customer, UBS. Time: Wednesday, June 8 at 1:30 p.m.
Both sessions will be moderated by Paul Roeck, who leads our Pega DX CoE practice, and Dr. Setrag Khoshafian, Chief Evangelist and Vice President of BPM Technology.
