Hundreds of government professionals will travel to Washington, D.C., for PegaWORLD on June 9 to hear why it's all about the citizen. There, our annual user conference attendees will hear how government agencies have driven change, and how they're innovating with Pega technology to provide citizen-centric services, in line with how many organizations are in the private sector.
The expanded Public Sector agenda this year includes solution demonstrations, countless networking opportunities, and numerous insightful presentations from global government thought leaders. Two sessions I’m really looking forward to feature the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). Speaking in a keynote will be Richard Haley, Chief Financial Officer, Federal Bureau of Investigation. Haley, responsible for the FBI’s budget, procurement, and financial operations totaling over $8 billion, will participate in a panel discussion June 9 with Forbes Alexander, Chief Financial Officer, Jabil; and Jessica Kral, CIO Medicare & Retirement, UnitedHealthcare.
Also on Monday, Christine Calvosa, Chief Technology Officer at USDA - Natural Resources Conservation Service will participate in the Government Customer and Workforce Engagement panel discussion. Ms. Calvosa, a 2012 Federal Computer Week Rising Star, was recognized for deploying NRCS’s national website within seven months of leading the effort and has established and managed the technology roadmap for the entire agency.
