Partner Sales Executive

The Partner Sales Executive is responsible for developing and managing go-to-market partnerships to accelerate revenue growth by selling specific Pega offerings at scale through Pega partners. The partner sales executive will also drive adoption of Pega technology within partners.
This is a quota-bearing sales role that will include partner business development, partner sales enablement, active support for partner-led prospecting and deal progression, and close coordination with Pega direct sales teams.
What You'll Do at Pega:
Partner Business Development
- Build a sales plan with each partner, including documentation of expected resources and outcomes
- Market Pega and build awareness for the Pega value proposition across multiple partner practice and business areas
- Engage with individual partner sellers to build Pega mindshare and create org-specific sales plans with Peag Sellers.
Partner Enablement and Readiness
- Communicate and drive adoption of Pega selling best practices (including positioning, deal qualification, sales process, MEDDPICC methodology, tools), optimized for partner-specific needs
- Collaborate with Pega's enablement teams to deliver training and certification programs that elevate partner sales capabilities
- Monitor partner best practice adoption (e.g., GenAI tools), identify gaps, and execute remediation plans.
Prospecting and Deal Execution
- Ensure partners are trained on Pega prospecting methodology.
- Track partner prospecting activity levels and pipeline building effectiveness, identifying gaps and working with partners to execute remediation plans
- Manage joint forecast/pipeline cadence across each partner, actively reviewing and digging in on each partner’s opportunity pipeline (to confirm deal qualification, effective engagement, gap resolution, etc.)
- Support partners in navigating Pega's internal resources to accelerate deal closure
Co-selling Effectiveness
- Ensure engagement/coordination with Pega direct sales on any opportunity sold into a Pega target org
- Connect appropriate partner sellers with Pega direct sales-sourced opportunities
Performance Management
- Manage Pega forecast (in SA) for partner-led opportunities, identifying close gaps and risks
- Review performance against partner-specific targets, identifying gaps and corrective actions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in partner sales, partner management, or related roles in the enterprise software industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through partner channels
- Strong understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and methodologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners at multiple levels
- Experience with CRM systems and partner management tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Pega products or similar enterprise software solutions
- Knowledge of low-code platforms, AI, or workflow automation technologies
- Experience in co-selling environments between direct and indirect sales channels
- Understanding of system integrator business models and sales approaches
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
