Pega’s Return-to-Work program is a 16-week paid “Returnship” for experienced professionals who have at least 5 years of experience and are returning to the workforce after taking at least a 1-year hiatus. This is your chance to showcase your expertise, refresh your knowledge, contribute to meaningful projects, and relaunch your career!
The program offers specialized onboarding and professional development opportunities, including mentorship and skills training in collaboration with our Learning and Development Team, to support your transition and growth.

Picture Yourself at Pega:
Do you have a passion for organization and planning, with an amazing attention to detail? In this unique role, you will have an opportunity to support our marketing leadership team AND spend time working on our global events team. You will manage executive calendars, book travel, drive marketing projects, and handle logistics for our world-class events.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Manage complex calendars for multiple marketing executives; scheduling meetings, and ensuring efficient time management
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve them
- Screen, prioritize, and draft communications for executives
- Arrange travel itineraries and prepare documentation and briefing materials for business trips
- Manage expense reporting and reimbursement processes
- Prepare agendas, presentations, and materials for leadership meetings and take detailed minutes and track action items
- Support a global events team by coordinating various logistics for Pega-hosted and sponsored events, owning various workstreams of the event life cycle
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, onboarding, and payments
- Track event metrics and prepare post-event analyses
Who You Are:
A detail-oriented administrative assistant with exceptional time and project management skills and an interest in event planning. This individual communicates well, is quick on their feet, can offer solutions and has an ability to think strategically. This person is a collaborator, comfortable and confident working with multiple executives and stakeholders. This individual works well independently while being an integral part of a global team. This person has had exposure to event planning and is excited to learn more about the events industry. This person has a positive attitude, is happy to pitch in and help in any way necessary to ensure success – no job is too big or too small.
What You've Accomplished:
- Proven ability to successfully interact with and manage executives and clients
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and vendors, prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to apply strategic solutions for successful outcomes and efficiencies
- Demonstrated ability for accuracy, thoroughness, and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking global environment with numerous deadlines
- Ability to prepare complex travel itineraries and effectively manage calendars
