In his role as the Business Owner of the Digi Hub HR Enabling he is responsible for around 140 people and 15 IT systems to run the HR workflows inside Deutsch Telekom. Main effort has been on the ramp-up of our Pega platform called Hrcules (HR customer less effort system) in the last years. In September 2025 they will have finalized the migration of altogether 800+ processes from an old environment to a state-of-the-art system environment with Pega. And with all the Pega opportunities the setting of our Pega system has been emerged towards a “Multipurpose Groupe Platform”. Ralf has a strong background working in the interface between business and IT: 13+ years in the Shared Services of Deutsche Telekom in the areas of Procurement , Finance and HR, and four years inside German armed forces to develop logistic IT solutions like a movement coordination systems.
As Head of Technology Strategy, he sets up cross-functional strategic IT development. As an HRCules architect, he focuses on transforming business applications to drive business outcomes and set benchmarks within Deutsche Telekom. His team builds seamless applications that boost agent productivity and support faster decision-making. Since starting with Pega 5.x, he has advanced from junior developer to trusted Pega Advisor and now HRCules architect for DTSE. Over 15 years, he has contributed to greenfield implementations and digital transformation across industries. A key milestone was becoming one of the first ten Certified Lead System Architects (CLSA) on Pega version 8, enabling him to lead solutions and engage with senior stakeholders. He remains motivated by innovation and meeting new challenges with a future-ready mindset.

Dirk leads the flow.works teams for the implementation of Pega projects and the Pega Center of Excellence with over 20 employees at DB Systel GmbH (subsidiary and IT provider of Deutsche Bahn). He himself has been with the company since 2008 and has been working on the topic of low-code since 2011.
