Pegasystems Teams With Equifax to Create an Out-of-the-Box Service Connector
New connector provides mutual customers with faster access to Equifax data and services
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – September 29, 2014 – Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), the software company powering the digital enterprise, today announced it has teamed with Equifax (NYSE:EFX), a global information solutions company, to provide a service connector to an industry-leading Equifax processing and delivery platform, called InterConnect®. InterConnect provides access to data that is used by organizations to automate account openings, improve cross-selling and manage credit risk and fraud mitigation across the client lifecycle. The combined power of Pega applications, the InterConnect services and Equifax data enables organizations to more effectively manage business decisions to ensure a better customer experience, while reducing risk, reducing cost and increasing revenue.
The connector allows Pegasystems customers to efficiently incorporate Equifax data into their Pega applications without the need for significant additional development. Using the service connector, Pega customers can quickly build applications that leverage the broad range of Equifax data and insights to meet customer needs.
The connector is a strong complement to a number of Pegasystems’ financial services applications, including Pega’s New Business For Financial Services and Pega’s Customer Process Manager. Use of the connector requires an Equifax contract and works with applications built on Pega 7.
