Kenagy's Harvard research resulted in Adaptive Design®; a set of revitalizing choices and opportunities that cultivate adaptability in the everyday work of the organization and its people. He authored Designed to Adapt: Leading Healthcare in Challenging Times, a practical guidebook to highly adaptive care.
- Dr. Peter Angood – Dr. Angood has provided senior executive leadership for all sizes and types of healthcare organizations, and now serves as Chief Executive Officer for the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE). He was recently Chief Medical Officer for the Patient Safety Organization of GE Healthcare, and also completed a two-year engagement with the National Quality Forum (NQF) and National Priorities Partnership (NPP) as Senior Advisor for Patient Safety. Previously Dr. Angood was Chief Patient Safety Officer and Vice-President for The Joint Commission where he oversaw annual development of the National Patient Safety Goals and other enterprise-wide international patient safety initiatives. Dr. Angood continues to intermittently work with the World Health Organization Patient Safety initiative and helped lead early development of the WHO Collaborating Center for Patient Safety Solutions.
- Adam Hjerpe – Adam Hjerpe is Vice President, Enterprise Operations for UnitedHealth Group, the group which coordinates enterprise-level process management to the rapidly growing UnitedHealthcare and Optum business segments. In this role he collaborates across UnitedHealth Group to align the portfolio of Business Process Management (BPM) projects throughout the enterprise. In addition to championing United’s BPM strategy, Adam also helps to drive strategic programs across UnitedHealth Group focused on cost containment, service improvement and value delivery.
